I am Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Michigan. I am also Faculty Associate of the Center for Political Studies where my primary office is located, Faculty Member of the Center for Japanese Studies, and Affiliated Faculty of the Michigan Institute for Data Science (MIDAS). I work mainly on the development and applications of Bayesian statistical models and large-scale computational algorithms for data analysis.
